One of the most critically acclaimed musicians to date and a co-founder of rock super-group Traffic, singer/songwriter/guitarist Dave Mason has finalized his most personal effort in years with the just announced release of a solo album, 26 Letters ~ 12 Notes on October 14, 2008.
The album has been six years in the making and was self-produced by Mason and recorded in his California home studio.
A soulful blend of Mason’s rock and blues influences, the album contains 12 tracks all of which feature Mason’s singing and guitar handiwork.
Dave Mason gets back to his roots writing and recording the songs and music that make him the Rock & Roll legend that he is, on his new album, "26 Letters ~ 12 Notes". From his days playing with Traffic, along with Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, and Eric Clapton, Dave Mason's new CD, "26 Letters ~ 12 Notes" captures the heart and soul again and again with songs like "Good 2 U", "One Day" and "How Do I Get To Heaven".
The album is sold through digital outlets and retail outlets nationwide from Out The Box Records.
